Migraine Headaches

I have encountered many instances with young women where the replacement of testosterone has resulted in the elimination or improvement of migraine headaches. There have been too many patients spontaneously reporting this to me for it to be coincidence. On those occasions when these women have stopped their testosterone therapy, for whatever reason, the headaches returned as the serum testosterone level fell. I cannot even speculate as to the cause and effect here, but it is one of the many, many, effects of testosterone replacement therapy that needs to be studied once the medical community stops willfully ignoring the disease of testosterone deficiency.

(Reminder: The range of healthy, adequate, serum levels of testosterone in females has yet to be established, (not hard to understand when the deficiency state is ignored) so prior studies on almost any aspect of testosterone in women are seriously flawed.)
